I was planning on using a disc/disc T-Bird master cylinder (has larger front fluid well and smaller rear fluid well) but was just going to keep the stock 1970 drum/drum proportioning valve.

Do you know what the front to back bias is pre-set with the old drum/drum P. valve? Is it possibly even up or still biased towards the front drums?

I also have a Wilwood adjustable valve. Did you mount your's in the line going to the rear brakes? As you turn the Wilwood valve clockwise, does it take rear brake out of the car? I've used these in stock car racing but I'm just trying to get a feel on how it is working out for someone using it on the street. :)

I don't have an adjustable valve, I have the yellow 70 grabber running the stock master and prop valve with 75 rear end and disc brake set up. The pedal is very spongy and the rear brakes are locking up first.

If the pedal is spongy then you have air in the system - bleed the brakes until they are firm. Take your time and then sort out what the bias needs. You can't adjust the bias with air in the system.

I've bleed the system twice with a vacume gun I'm wondering if I need to get the wife outside and just bleed them old school. I'm suspect of the m/c needing to be rebench bleed again.

I would be weary of the vacuum gun. Old school works every time.
