Ingnition switch Anybody know where I can find instructions or schematic on removing the switch? A mechanic friend told me that if the key cylinder is turning fine when its out, that it might be the switch and I might want to check it. I also read in here that it could be gummed up, either way, the switch doesn't appear obvious to me. the only thing I see is to pull out all the guts on the top side of the column (as shown in the "key cylinder" picture earlier).
Ignition Switch By " at the base of the column" do you mean under the assemblies (blinker control and hazard lights) shown in the picture attached?
