Im starting to re-do the interior of my car, and on the agenda is replacing the old torn up carpet. Its a 69.5 that has been converted from an auto to a floor mount manual. I want something decent but its a cheap build for now. What are some decent brands for pre fit carpeting for our mavs? Right now im looking at this http://www.auto-interior.com/ford23.htm but i also see ACC makes a good quality carpet but is about $100 more.
i dont know if its an option for you but i went to a junkyard and got a decent black carpet from a ford crown vic. i took it home and pressure washed and scrubbed it. i had to rip all the molded insulation of the back and cut some of the carpet of cause it was a bit long but i got it to fit and it looks pretty damn good for $18 carpet. just an idea for thought
ACC is only more money if you buy it directly from them. If you buy it from one of their wholesale dealers you can get it at a pretty fair price. They do have the best quality carpets ...

You will find that the aftermarket carpets for a 69.5/70 fit poorly, due to the smaller tunnel than the 71 up cars. You will have to cut and gusset the carpet, but you can make it fit. Good luck.
The carpet you linked to is ACC. If you read up on their "mass backing" it says all their carpet is manufactured by ACC.
