The RPM is also going to depend on your tire size, like others have mentioned.
My tires are 24" and with the C4 and 3:55 gears I do 3000rpm @ 60. Easy to pass people on the highway at that rate. Just need to make sure you have some good cooling installed. A stock radiator won't cut it.

You must have an Obama motor to get 20 mpg with your mentioned set up. I know Texas is BIG and Missouri says show me Va says I don't believe that stuff

I plan on runnin 345/30R18 (26" tire) in rear with T5/3:55 gears. What would you guestimate I would RPM at @ 70mph?

Checking my spreadsheets of my fantasy builds that has rpm guesses -
Unsure of what model T5 you have, a model with either the .68 or .78 final gear, I see that you would be at either:
    2200rpm with .68 final
    or 2500rpm with .78 final

Checking these numbers at http://www.ringpinion.com/Calculators/Calc_RPM.aspx shows that to be about right.

Either way, looks like you're sitting cozy for cruisin speed! :thumbs2:

    Not sure what that means...

I can make it pull 20 mpg if I drive it like a granny. I drove full tank from our house to a car show and back, only passing one or two cars along the way. About 3/4 of the drive was highway, and then some mild city driving.

Got back home, topped off the tank, and calculated...20 mpg.

Now if I get on it, and open all four barrels, I can get closer to 1 mpg. I can actually see the needle dropping when I am at the drag strip.

I don't think you could ever go wrorg with Richmond :)

On other's advice, I bought 3.89's for my 9 inch, due to the cam shaft range in the Cleveland, and they are made by Richmond - granted it hasn't been driven yet :hmmm:

Mine are richmond. No problems. Buy the installation kit with it and all parts will be included.

That is not driving like a grandmother. I keep it at 60-65 to get the 20 mpg. 75 for me would likely be similar to what you are getting.

I think the reason for the decent mpg is that the car weighs next-to-nothing, and 350 hp is barely working to keep it going at speed.
