What year of mustang rear drums will bolt up to a 5 bolt rear end?

Did you keep the 70 drum brakes or convert to disc brakes?

I kept the drums. It's 3 on the tree, so it will never change :-D Other than all the color changes I'm making :)

Then you had to find something to work on the 70 drums, not easy. Mine was a disc swap.

It was fabricated by my mechanic who did the engine build and everything was redone and replaced by him. Ending up spending more than I expected. There are some pictures of how the 1968 Mustang lines were used with some cut aluminium tube and bolted in. I don't think it was too hard, but I can take more pictures if you want to see. It's drums all rebuilt now!

So I figured out the drums on my own, but has anyone ever used mustang front brakes? Because mustang parts are so much easier for me to get, so would the discs, and calipers from a mustang work with a maverick?

I have '69 Torino brakes on my '72, are basically same from '68-'71 and '68-'73 on Stangs... Wheel bearings and tie rod pin size changed from '69 to '70 but otherwise are identical...

So your saying 68-73 calipers and rotors will just bolt right up with a ball joint change?
