use plenty of assembly lube,and NEW lifters!might as well replace the chain and gears since your there.just line up the marks per instructions.
how old is the modulator valve?whens the last time the fluid/filter has been changed?has the bands ever been adjusted?
if you dont want to take the glass out,...like jamie said,be patient taking out the screws.unless you just use tape and newspaper and cover...
what is it your doing,that you have to remove the whole dash?
do yourself a favor,order a new windshield gasket,when you get it,wait til the weekend,then do it.for the time it'll take you to get them screws...
set down the tools and step slowly away from the vehicle.lol only way to get to the cam is from the top and front.you won't need jackstands.
when you drop the oil pan,all your going to see is main caps,and connecting rods.you'll see a glimpse or sections of the cam,but thats about it.
place the jack/jaclstands on the frame rails by the torque boxes.you will not be able to get to the lifters/cam by removing the oil pan.intake...

Yep,not alot of surface area to hold the glue.The pin inserts,You and I posted will work fine.
