Jeff, you're right - it's the 69 Shelby, not Mustang. Part no. starts with C9TZ, so it was originally designed as a truck part. (F100?)
buckets as in headlight buckets? 69 shelby mustang, left & right are reversed, though. trim rings can be used from the same year.

i believe it was mr gasket with a pretty thick gasket. but then again, i always loved remflex...

good luck with the build. rear suspension is the same design as the falcon, so expect the shackle bolts to be a little stubborn, too.
