I don't know all the differences, but when I converted mine to manual all the 75 parts fit my 73 except outter tie rods.
Sometimes you need to spray some starting fluid or pour some gas in the carb to get fuel up to the bowl to get it pumping.

Every engine is different, always check ptv clearance. Also if ptv clearance is a concern, with tfs twisted wedge heads you can usually get away...
