Rebuild the original carb. Factory carbs are built/jetted based on the year and motor size. It's a gamble with anything else.

You are going to find that where you show it being mounted will interfere with the "rod" that goes from the ignition down to the ignition...
Just get new steel transmission lines from Right Stuff Detailing. They provide better protection from rupture/wear.
