you installed a relay for the coil and have 12 volts in to relay and 12 out but 11.3 off pos side of coil is that correct
You need a full 12 volts for the pertronix, I run my coil and electric choke off relays one for each used original coil wire to trigger the relay...

you may be able to get the tall chrome covers to clear. aluminum covers are thicker obviously which also makes them taller, worth a try
