I will sometimes start with 600 grit first. Just have to check progress more often, or you can sand through.
It sprayed out really nice. Coats can out even, I really like it.

Its a pretty bright purple in person. No matter how I photograph it, it looks blue. If you go to the link I posted you can see the color.

I painted everything white first, then the color. It covers much better this way and makes it a little brighter.

I think that on probably goes to a purple color too. You could maybe put some silver pearl in the clear coat. That may get you the color youre...
