No direct pressure there. The rubber plug should work if you can find the right size.
I think these are inside the deck lid and hold the nuts for the mounting bolts. I may have a couple laying around somewhere.

I believe the inside levers are for reclining the seat backs. Can't see the lever for forward tilt in the picture.
