We made it Spokane, 4 days, 2400 miles, drove 3 vehicles, pulled 20 foot cargo trailer with the Maverick and some household goods, no flat tires...

John, you're right, it does/will still work without the spring...it's sloppy without it though. This is for the hand style emergency brake...
