Mobil 1 10W-30 High Mileage goes in both the Maverick and Mustang with the 170 and 200ci i6s, either that or Castrol SYNTEC 10W-30.
I have a Moroso "High Performance" aluminum water pump. The car runs WAY cooler when coupled with my Champion radiator.. Plus its a lot lighter!
Cleaned the spark plugs on the Maverick.. Should be good for another month lmao
Got a buddy that bought one of these ebay kits from a friend who had bought it from Ebay. In total, the kit has been in service for about three...
I use Mobil 1 15W-50 in the worn out 302 in the Comet. Holds better oil pressure that 10w-40 since it's thicker of course. 10W-30 High mileage...
Got a 170 in the Maverick and a 302 in the Comet. Both original engines.:burnout:
I had AP45s in the 302 in my Comet before. I might be crazy, but the engine seemed to idle smoother with those than with the Motorcrafts I have in...
Looked at it an sighed... I was gonna replace the upper ball joints on the Maverick but it's raining [IMG]

I guess that would solve the "not enough backpressure" argument.
Seconding the prank off idea.

Changed the upper ball joints and outer wheel bearings on the Comet... HUGE difference in how the car feels.. Now to get it aligned.
