Yes it will still harden just slower with less hardener. The color is irrelevant.
You can do great and a/c through stock vents or under dash unit. They are less expensive then you think.

Just 74 or 74 and up? We were trying to put my 73 spare on a 74 without success. I have never acutally tried my spare on my car though.
Interesting, I might have to do some testing. We discovered the hole in the center on my spare was too small to fit a 74 drum brake car front....
I was under the assumption that a spare tire for a 5 lug car should fit any year Mav/Comet. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
