    Was your first car a Maverick/Comet

    Why yes it was a 1971 straight six mav.My dad found it behind a used ford dealer in 1980.Green with black interior.Drove it 6yrs until I got married.

    what aftermarket shifter are you using?

    I had a b&m mega shifter in my first mav.This time I think i'm using a 6-speed.
