I have the exact same air cleaner, the wing nut hits the the hood. I have to cut the hood. But, I'm thinking an off set base w/ a low profile...

I tried a 8" diameter, 2" high air cleaner, and the stud hits the hood. I have to "clearance" the sheet metal! I even tried a low profile carb...
Anyone using an after market hood scoop? I need clearance for the Holley 350 2bbl on the 250 ci six. Any ideas? Pics??? Thanks! Jim P.
