MII front end, of swap a front subframe from a 70 Mustang, and then hang Maverick sheetmetal...

Not even sure if the coilover kits will allow it.

Best of luck. Are you using tube frame, aftermarket MII or stock MII?

I fired my 429 last Friday and ran it for a while. Have one more brake line to make up and a couple of odds and ends and I should be ready to cruise the neighborhood this weekend.I can't get mine under the stock hood (edelbrock RPM with a 1" spacer) but it isn't too far out of the hood. It would be real close without the spacer. A stock 4 barrel or performer without a spacer would easily fit. Possibly a flat single plane too (like a port-o-sonic or torker).

This thread kinda looks like one that was moved/deleted. Wonder how long this one will stick around before it's axed?

Man, that 460 Mav is awesome! Can you say sleeper? ;)

I see absolutely no logical reason why this thread would be moved or deleted. It's in the correct place and has alot of good information.

Has any one tried the TCI or Heights set up i just got off the phone with Tim and the front end he sells is for a early falcon with frame rails measuring 31" out side to out side and 26" inside to inside with a hub to hub of 57" total but you can order it 5/8" narrower on each side..his price with shipping is $1799.00 and rod and customs is about $2400.00 if TCI would work that is more money left over for some other parts.

I always thought an aluminum 806 ci in a Maverick would make the ultimate sleeper. Weighs about the same as a small block! (y)

I think Heidt does the same thing as TCI. They make their front ends for falcons and mustangs and stuff. I'm sure they'd be willing to work with you though.
