Went to Muscle Palooza VII at Lebanon Valley Dragway in NY yesterday. There were a couple of Mavs and a Comet. Heres what I saw:

Comet ran mid to high 12s but was dialed in at mid 14s. Not sure how that happens.

Then there was the "Mad Frenchman".
High 10's with a 303" straight 6. That was awesome. It was enough to make you six!

Here are a few videos, but I ran out of memory before it ran.

    I suspect shenanigans.
No way a Poncho could take a Comet unless the race was rigged.

The Mad Frenchman has been around for a while. neat car.:)

Look at the window of the Pontiac. It runs 14.50 and the Comet is dialed at 13.00, so the Pontiac gets a 1 1/2 second head start.:D

Thanks, Feel free to use any you like in the gallery, I remember a while back discussing the feasibility of putting a 300" straight six in a Mav, I couldnt locate any pictures. I thought the Mad Frenchman was one of the coolest cars there. As far as I know it was the only straight six running. There was a neon running 16 - 17 sec, that wasnt even worth mentioning. lol.
