After spending frustrating hours with paint, photoshop + etc, I finally just drew an outline and got out the pencil + crayons to come up with these drawings. My original plan was the purple + silver two-tone drawing but I'm leaning towards white for the bottom half. The orange car didn't turn out that great but it's fun to look at. The red car is not bad but looks too much like a Mustang to me. I really like the stripe combo on the blue car even though the idea came from a Chevy!! Tell me what you guys think and if you've got any other color schemes that go well together for me too try out!!

    Good stuff!
I like 1 best, but 4 is cool.

Please don't use "Boss" letters without having a real 69-71 Boss engine!
The term should be held to high standards, but it gets dumbed down all the time.
Now Ford is even in on the act...

Ratio, BOSS seemed to fit the best. I agree with you that it should only be on cars that are the "real deal" but if you look to the right, you can see my other letters I thought about. I want something different so GT looks pretty good or 302 HO or even HOSS( an old nickname) might work!! I want people to look at this car and see how good a Maverick can actually look!!
    Thanks for the input!!
    Scott
PS- I'm doing green tomorrow night!! Any colors that go good with a dark green??

Gold goes good with green. So does silver/white or a contrasting light green.I liked #1 and #4 the best too.

I like them all also, the orange car the least. If you made the purple darker or the orange more of a gold it would look better I think

IMO. the 4th is the best, 1st is second. I wouldn't put Boss on anything unless thats whats under the hood.

I actually think #3 in lime green may look cool (grabber of course)... and if you had a windsor stroked to 427 that would really be a nice thing to write for a badge :D

Ditto on the Boss thing, I do like 1 the best but 2 could look good if you didn't color the bumpers to match the stripe, the wing is OK and the scoop but the bumpers should be chrome or main color.

I have a 1976 Maverick Stallion, and 85 More Mavericks and Comets in Inventory.
I like the 1st 3rd and the 4th its a tie between the first and the 4th,,(y)

Those 2 Idea's are very suttle,, great color match,, Unique and diferant ,,,, and not cluttered with too much to take in,, and it enhances the Car,, the second,, would show the paint job and still have a person ask what kind of car it was ,, The paint graphics look awesome ,,,,, I like where your going with the Idea's,,

Some times our Customers have some wild Idea's for the paint job,, But like a painting,, too much can ruin it,,
