Flex plate differences

    It's been said before which is for what but I don't remember. I think there are 2? A 28 oz and a 50 oz? How do you know which you should have? I have a '75 250 C4.

    Neither of those will work on a 250. A 250 is 0 balance.

    Didn't know that. So there's three flexplates in the mix?

    yup, 3 if u cant the 250 counter part....
    250 had 0 balance (only came in 157 tooth)
    pre-83 had 28 oz balance while post-84 had 50 oz balance

    I say pre 81 and post 82 because even Ford doesn't know the exact date when the changeover on the cranks occured. But it happened at some point in those two model years.
