    So would you need the 65/67 switch (SW368 01), or the 67/69 (SW877 01) for a Maverick?

    The one for 70/73 (SW1615 01) is $115.00.

I don't know why I like it so much... That's just a sweet pic, Frank! I'm saving it before it disappears again.

Maybe one day I'll have one on the tranny and copy you

I need get under my car and see which one I need. My car is a 73 but no telling what's it has. I just started to work on the car on a regular basis since it has warmed & dry up enough to be in the garage. My car will only start in park and no BU lites. I assume it shud start in prk & neutral even if the BU lites & seat belt buzzer/interlock have been disconnected? I want to get a new sw but, the correct one - most places have no-return on elect stuff.

Yes! The car has stock type/OEM floor shifter. The came frm factory w/it according to the Marti report.
It appears someone may have replaced the steering column at one time, cuz there appears to be a lever on the column "firewall side" that wud'nt need to be there for a floorshift car. The netural sw is on the drivers side of the trans -- right?

I think you're looking at the column lock rod. http://1bad6t.com/Maverick/repair/clutch_transmission_03.html#f

Ok! That maybe what it is. It's not connected to anything "I have it secured w/ a piece of heavy blk copper wire" and the column locks. Wud it have bn put on cars regardless of shifter location? I will try to get some pix this week.
