Who says size doesn't matter?!? 5" downpipe tacked together. I will be welding this up tonight and then making the wastgate dump to merge into it. If it wasn't so stinking hot and now humid, I would be down in the garage working on it right now! But then between the black widows and now the wasps I'm constantly watching over my shoulder for the sneak attack by bugs!
Progress is good. I know what you mean about the heat and humidity. Heading to Pinetop tomorrow for the week.
I want to go! We had that reprieve yesterday with the clouds and it was SO nice! I just keep telling myself...it's almost over, it's almost over... LOL
You are the man.......................wish I lived closer to your house. I know what you mean about the heat, it 110 here today and even with the garage door insulated and the 2000btu air conditioner going............it was still 85 in the garage...............just too hot to work very long for the "Ole Guy". Keep up the good work..................it is very, very nice!
5 inch down pipe had that on 2.3L Thunderbird turbo coupe you wussy.... just kiddin that thing is gonna be a beast!!!!
Thanks guys! I really appreciate the compliments. Well, I finished welding the downpipe and added the wastegate tube...and then...(As they say on the TV show Wipeout)...it took big balls, but I cut a hole in my perfectly good fender! Now if my poor emblem doesn't get too overheated I will be doing good!
WOW STINKY THAT IS COOL . And yes it has been hot this year, even out here in new river. I've been working on mine today and the wrenges where getting to hot to touch. I can't wait for the break either so I can start panting this thing.
