there really should be some type of "pass-time" thread(you know.. the TV show).. around here.

It would be fun to have people guess what the combo will run and then post back after the pass to see who won! lol

    Sounds good to me.
Before my engine went on the dyno we had a kind of contest to see who would come the closest...................and I put up $50 (as a donation to the site in the name of the person that came the closest..............Daren won the guess and when I donated the money to Stephan I put it in Daren's name and he got 3 years of supporting membership to the site) so if there were enough races left this year I'd do it again(just not enough chances to get her out on the track yet this year)...............only with guessing the quickest time/mph (the MPH just like on PassTime, if there is a tie the MPH will be the deciding factor). I guess I'll have to wait until next year...................but I think that's a great idea.

    what's hard...it's a guess....
if I error it will be to the faster side.
he talks like he will never know...for sure...and like all passes at the track...if you do yada, yada and if the track was yada yada and the weather was yada yada it would have done better...I guess, not a racer.
"it is what it is on race day"

and you will be in the 10s when we start...guessing...on your setup...:D
    10s just sounds fast to me...I'm a street car person...a little...:chirp:...and I'm good...:thumbs2:

I kinda like that pass time thread idea I will have to catch up with Esampson next season and take it to the track, My guess was low 13,s hoping to hit high 12,s.

you shouldn't have a problem hitting low 13's. i hit them easily easing into it off the line trying not to spin - on street tires/stock suspension not even ladder bars...im actually really thinking about going EFI with an aftermarket computer (not sure what one) and going turbo as well..but the thing is..it is a 302, how much will it really handle.

either way ill make it out to race next year at mision with or without a turbo set-up, going mega ford weekend at the very least (september) and may be able to get Cliff - Grabber71 and a few others to join. he runs 11.5's i believe.

It should be a mid 12 sec car easy... I went 13.11@105 in my fat girl 3750Lb(with me) '88T-Bird with a Trick Flow headed 5.0... Also has TF Stage 1 cam Cobra intake, 1 5/8" headers, full 2.5" exhaust system, 2600 stall & 3.73 gears...

Ok, lets see how you guys can predict my car, I ran wednesday night at raceway park with a DA of 800ft

    3200 lbs
caltrac with short 30x9 goodyear radial
    5.43 gears
c4 trans ( standard gear set)
    .040 302 svo a4 block
    boss 302 heads
TA track boss manifold opened up to match the intake runners
    1 7/8 tubular automotive headers w 3 1/2 collector
    .640 roller 272i 278i duration at 050

if you have already seen previous posts on what i havwe run, dont spoil it,

in the pass time rules you get to ask a question, but usually theres not as much info as i gave, if were gonna play this game, i think the hp should be left out if someone can provide enough engine details

    have fun
