I can't wait! I would like to say for those of you that are thinking about going, but are not sure if its worth the time, travel or money. I can honestly say that it is a event that my wife and I plan for all year. All of the people that have attended in the past couple of years have been terrific! Its a great time with a bunch of maverick and comet guys. I especially like the "bench racing" that goes on every night out in the parking lot. Heck my wife and I went last year and did not have a car there. And if neither one of my cars are ready this year, we would still attend. Craig puts on one hell of a show! I cannot express enough what a great time that will be had for all. So do not be one of those people who will read all the post on the evening of July 27th when everyone is returning home talking about the great time they had and you sitting there saying "I should have went!" P.S. Hey Craig, I am starting early this year on my job as "Round-up Nationals Welcoming Chairman" LOL. Tell the "QUEEN" I said hi. :D

Thanks for all the kind words, John. It's MCCI members like you that make this job worthwhile.

"QUEEN" would be my wife and she says: Hay, John!

Have fun----once again I find myself sitting in the capital of "RICE cars" here in california, and impossible far from the parts of the country who still believe in american iron.

maybe some year, but then again, I hate flying, so would be one heck of a road trip.

I checked the hotel again today. Only 5 rooms left. They will hold these 5 rooms until the 14th, and then they will be put back in the hotel "system" to be taken up by anybody. The hotel, right now, is sold out.

I had originally booked 36 rooms, so 31 are taken. This should tell you that this will be one awesome weekend!!! I saw lots of names of new faces that are coming, as well as some familiar names. I also know of several people coming that are not staying at this hotel. If you are even thinking about coming....go ahead and make the trip. I think everyone will agree...it is worth the trip!!!

I went several years ago, drove 13 hours one way and it was worth it back then. Imagine now, more cars, more people! I have to go again one day.
