Will do. I'm thinking of 245/45/17 in the front and 255/45/17 in the rear or maybe 275/40/17 in the rear.
The final math came out to 4.5" offset in the front and 5" offset in the rear with 17x9" front rims and 17x9.5" rims in the rear. Is this correct? Probably not, but I have room to shim if I have to I am not going for looks. I don't mind the looks of these but it's not what I would have chosen if I had more time to select the right wheels. They seems simple enough though so I can't complain for $300 a pop.
The wheels are W rated tires, I was told to try to go with Y rated tires but it's not easy finding the right Y rated tires with the right load capacity and the sizes I need in the short time I need them by. Nitto seems to be more popular with the corvette drivers and the performance of the Nitto Nt555 is supposed to be sub-par but it will do. http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/nt555
Those wheels look great especially for the price. Can you weigh them before mounting. Im curious. Thanks
tires arrived! Center line sent a free set of lug nuts and valve stems, how thoughtful tire pressure/temp monitoring system valve stems that came with the tire pressure kit Wheels and tires are done!!! $50 to install them and balance and them . . . I haven't had a chance to install them which kills me but hey, no time today.
dude it's tearing me up . . . are they gonna fit, are they not gonna fit . . . do I need spacers . . . how will they handle . . . arghhh
i know when mo gets off work tonight he will go back to the shop to install them. i expect to find him sleeping in the office in the morning!!!
Very nice! Did you end up with the 275's in the rear? Don't forget to add your combo to the Wheel and Tire Database!
