very nice...you have the same radiator as me ;)
i don't see how you've mounted it to the rad support though...i just picked up my taurus fan last week...putting those things through my rad..seems sketchy to me.

What radiator do u have mounted in ur car? Looks like u got little more room between the waterpump and the fan motor than I have w/ my "Champion" radiator.

I had to trim some of the radiator support off. I made some simple brackets from aluminum. I can't remember which rad it is

i have the same radiator, when i purchased it from the performance shop it was classified as a general ford race radiator that cools extremely well. only one thing i didn't like about it was the angle of the bottom outlet.

Edit; what do you have running around the edge of your fan? is it like weatherstripping

It should cool pretty good with the taurus fan and edelbrock pump. Weatherstripping around the fan. It's something that was in a comet I bought. I believe its for a windshield, there's aluminum inside the weatherstripping that clamps on the shroud. It should make a good seal.

do you have those zip straps going through your rad as well? wouldn't it wreck your rad?..plus its a bit of weight hanging on it..it sure looks nice and clean, but sketchy.

I had the rad hanging on the zips. This week I took the rad out cuz I thought I had a water pump leak. I found the hose on the pump loose so that maybe why I assumed, I had a failing pump. I have not ran the car since so don't knw if the pump is faulty - or not. I cud'nt see well enough arnd all the pulleys, belts and other stuff to see if the water was coming frm the bottom of the pump.
Upon removing the wp pulley, it's as dry as a desert.
Anyway, while I had/have the grille, rad and fan out, I decicde to make steel brackets, running across the rad w/ 1/4"*20 studs and attach the fan to them.
This will also eliminate having to remove the rad to remove the fan. I have AC condensor and shud have did this when I converted the AC setup to the newer style units.

I hve not been able to finish the job cuz I contracted a bad cold and not feeling like workin in the damp garage.

Getting back to the Comet. I had to get the newer style tcp/alston shocks as the older shocks are discontinued.
