I used a mustang sn95 driveshaft, just swapped out the small yoke flange with a big yoke flange and a 1310/1330 u joint

This is the stock c4 1971 Comet driveshaft next to an SN95 mustang driveshaft

The flange yoke needed for the conversion

He's not too affordable for the car guy on a budget but his work is top of the line. Big head motorsports is his shops name. The shop is in Loomis not too far from rancho cordoba. I'll lt you know next time I'm out in your area

Got my subframe connectors from chassis engineering and had a chance to weld them up today.

Cool It, Thermo Tec sound deadner and heat control. I grinded down the spots with surface rust and coated them with rust bullet. Took a little bit to get the hang of it but I'm satisfied with the outcome.

Very nice! I hope you have plans to beef up the mounting areas at the tops..

Going to install as is, they have the same mounting as the originals except they're flipped upside down. Alston didn't mention any issues with the mounting areas.

did you have your parts shipped out or did you pick them up? his shop isnt anything I imagined atleast the little show room I saw wasnt anyway

I expected MUCH more I dont know what. but I expected more. maybe I expected to see cars on display they worked on

I guess thats a good thing they focus on the work they do. not the look of the business.
