Nice car. I think you’re achieving what a lot of members would like to do; swap in a smooth running V-8 with a good cam, heads, intake manifold, 4 bbl and 1.6 rockers.
Then you put a can put a set a mags on it. :bananaman:

I bought the willwood front brakes last week and planning to install after thanksgiving. Got the 15×7 bullit rims set. but right now im trying to figure out how my column shift linkage will hook up due to v8 swap. Looking for the 7A026 mechanism parts.

Welcome to the forum! Mine was a 6cyl swap that was unfinished, but it came with headers and the column shift linkage I had gave me so much grief that I wound up using a Granada shift cable. Having a transmission out of a Granada made that easier though. Keep at it.....looks nice so far!

copy and paste C4 column shift linkage + longtubes
into the search box and a thread with my pics and another pic without power brakes (a better bracket than mine) should be there. My transmission had a place to bolt the cable to the bell housing as it was a Granada transmission. If you go that route, you may need to fab a bracket to hold that end of the shift cable. There is also a link to buy the cable from rock auto, which will save around 25 bucks over NAPA. It will pull this thread up too now that I typed it here.....:slap:

Yes sir! I definitely had 6 cyl linkage.....the v8 stuff would be the way to go if you dont have headers...or have good headers designed to work with the linkage. I had to get a power steering drop bracket too......and dimple a tube that the steering arm hit. nice diagram.

Hipo exhaust manifold is the one i used due to the gt40p head spark plug design. Not sure how will the pipes going to interfere with the column linkage.
