So i didnt take as many pictures as i should have but i will tomorrow. I added the brakes and front rims.
today I went about fixing the center caps on the wheels. i pulled em apart then took out the dremel to smooth em out. Then i glued em together Yea i know i am missing a lug nut, I am getting some new ones but it takes forever to get mail out here :/ I am still waiting to get some leave days off so i can head to northern california and pick up my maverick hood.
So its been a while since i have been able to post, in the last few weeks i managed to get a running 351 windsor for 500 bucks. Time to start building her and save up for a t5 tranny. I also managed to trade a gt500 spoiler for a 9 inch rear end.
So it may look like I havent been up to much but over the last few days i painted the headlight bezels, added a chin spoiler and lowerd the front of the car a bit. Me and a friend have been doing a motor swap on his new truck and lets just say wiring is such a pain in new vehicles...
So I know it looks like I've been neglecting her but honestly i haven't, today i cut out the fenders a bit and lowered her an inch in the front, got a new gas cap and put in a tach and water temp gauge.
So my shifter came in this weekend and i decided to put it in, pretty easy aside from routing the cable. Too bad i had to chop up my center console and i didn't really have time to make a new one. I don't have a day off for the next 3 weeks and I needed her to be drivable. So on my next few days off its time to redo the center console because it now looks like garbage.
Good job on the achievement medal it is a great feeling to be acknowledged for hard work good job keep it up.
So i havent been up to much because i hurt my back a few months ago, today i installed some new seats i bought from a neighbor for 75 bucks
I Have been working on the car over the last 2 weeks, i installed a new radiator ( after finding out someone bypassed the heater core with a piece of garden hose...) added satellite radio, installed a new fuel sending unit to get my gas gauge working, installed new upper and lower control arms and finally got to put on my new front rims. I haven't replaced the rears yet because i am still waiting on tires. Oh and i replaced all 4 shocks yesterday too.
thanks lol, yea the passenger seat if out because i have been doing some rewiring and its a bit easier without the seat in, and i have the back wheels that match the front. i just gotta order the tires for em.
