I too have a Billet Specialties wheel and wanted to do the same thing with the mav emblem on the horn button! Looks great!

I was hoping the maverick emblem would be more 3D but that is what I gave him.

I like the lettering, I'm not a fan of the steer head, it looks too long and flat.

and dont forget that hand holding a camera phone thingy on the bottom why would they put that in there? you cant even see any lines around the hand held phone holder thing they did a really good job on that but not so good on the steer head horns one looks longer than the other and is flat
very unique and would be very cool if painted to match the color of your car. that would make it pop out at you and give you the 3d look

dont sweat the steer head thing as no one will ever notice except us mav/comet guys everyone else will see it as a really cool touch

I thought about fender emblems in the headrest of my seats but never having my horn button branded :thumbs2:
maybe if the tattoo shop is skilled enough they can airbrush the maverick letters in ford blue or color match your car? that would be awesome. never ever forget the small details it will set your car over the top

I just wanted to post up and vent some of my frustrations. The one thing I do not have the confidence in doing myself is the paint on this car. I concider it a special build and want someone that does paint for a living paint the car. It has currently been at the second paint shop for roughly a year now. I was planning on having the car done and given to my dad for Christmas last year. I keep getting promises and dates that just come and go. The first painter made promises that he could not keep so I took the lose in what I paid him and took my car back. The current painter assured me that this would not be a problem. Like I said the car has been with this painter for a year now and I at the end with my patience. It is supposed to be completed by the end of the month and I am really hoping it is. I pretty much have everything to assemble the interior back together as well as the suspension, which is already on the car because I was informed that it needed to be install to move forward. I had it on the vehicle within 48 hours.

I guess I should just be patient and hope that I am not being taken for another ride. The painter is amazing I just figured it would be worked on more and at a faster pace.

I wish I had the time to restore a car that thoroughly. I can barely find time just to do a "fix up". Good luck on the painter. That car will be breath taking.
