1972 Maverick Grabber Resto/Mod for my Dad

I'd like to second that.............a lot of people here on the forum had their hand in helping Randy produce what I consider a very nice metal spoiler for our cars..................IMHO

 

It has been a while since I have posted an update. Not much visual progress but a lot of wet sanding and polishing. The dash is progressing slowly and I figure I would post up a couple of pictures showing the idea of what my idea is. I am hoping to get some of the pieces tig welded in tomorrow. I would like to get some rigidity in the piece before cutting more material out for the larger gauges.

Looks like the same one I used, only mine has warning lights as well as the gear selector. The great thing is they will make it to your exact specs. What ever warning lights you want they will do.

Hey Tom,

That dash is looking great. I probably don't need to say this, but... While doing the fabrication have you guys put the dash in it's normal position to make sure that the gauges will be facing at the driver? I would hate to see you go through all this only to have the gauges facing downward slightly because of driver/gauge panel positioning.

I've seen it before. Hate to see it happen to you after all this great work.
