From what was posted in the past, they are 17X8 with a 4.75" BS. I have the same wheels for my car, they look like they will clear just fine, I wonder if the rear disc's added some positive offset, I know the front wilwood I have, say they will add .75".

The Caltrac's system should take car of any of the axle rap. I am only using 1/2" blocks so there is also not that much additional leverage. The springs are also the lowest the make. The -1" springs are the ones I am currently running.

I purchased a second Maverick for a parts car and we test fit the tires and wheels and they fit perfect. With an 8 inch wide wheel on the front we were worried that we would have clearance issues. We originally wanted to go with a 4 inch back spacing wheel but it was to close to call. I didn't want to push my luck a damage both front fenders as soon as we finished the car so we opted for the 4.75 inch back spacing wheel.

I went with 3.5" back spacing on the rear and it I have to reorder the rims I will go with 4.25". Thanks for letting me know that 4.75" will be close to the bump stops.

There is plenty of room to go with 4.25" back spacing to instead of 3.5" like I went with. There was no reason to have to move the springs.

Try the 4.75's on the back, and see it the thickness of the rotor, gives you any clearance to the bump stop.

The front kit does add additional width but the rear kit I believe does not. I don't think the front kit adds 3/4". It is posted in the kit that it adds +.09.

THIS BRAKE KIT HAS AN HUB OFFSET OF: +.09
This Hub Offset will move the wheels inward or outward from the fenderby this amount on each side of the vehicle

That totals .180" or less than 3/16" total.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
funny i have the Calvert mono leafs and had them do the incher too. nope was higher then stock. lol! i had to put a two inch block back in it to get the right height now it rides like crap. Calvert said to send them back and they can re-do them... but from what you are saying that is the lowest they go?

IMO my car just look horrible sitting so high. ;)

If I were doing it, I'd go with a 17x7" front with a 4-1/4" back-space and 225/45-17 tires, and for the rear: 17x8" with a 4-1/2" back-space and 245 (or 255)/45-17s *provided the rear-end is wide enough for that much back-space.

It is going pretty slow. Work has blown up and I have been out of town most of the time on business. I really need to get back in the garage and finish up the dynomat and dynoliner. I probably have 2 hours left and then it is on to the wiring. To be honest this is what is going to take me the most time. It has been a while since I have done wiring like this. I wish there was an expert that I could turn too that was local.

Once the wiring goes in then the interior is soon to follow.

The tank is sitting under the car but I have to run the lines to the tank.

I just need time that I seem not to have.

I do apologize to all the Colorado guys. I promise I will get the meet n greet set up soon. I have a pretty good list of active Colorado Maverick owners and I will get an invite sent out as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks for the reply and asking about the car!

That color combination works surprisingly well together. Well... everything works amazingly well on it.. it's beautiful.
