Hey there. Nice car. I'm looking to redo a car much like yours as you can see in the photos I posted. I've looked online to see how it might look restored and yours was the only one I could find like it. I'm new to restorations.. I'm trying to figure out if I am in over my head on this (my first) project. Thanks. Wesley
Looks like that car has lots of rust. It's going to be major project from just the rust I can see; likely lot's more not visible. Looks like it may be parts car IMO. Being a 1st. project, I am thinking it may be over-your-head. Not being or sounding negative -- Just Honest Opinion.
Thank you for your honest opinion. I am second guessing myself now. I'll have to keep my eyes open for something else
I've had my 1974 Maverick since 1978. It was the original red, then I took it to a paint shop to have a candy apple color on it in 1989 but the red faded out into a maroon in a year. I've been looking for a good color to repaint it. I saw your lemon-lime color and fell in love with it. I would be interested in knowing if you have the exact color names or numbers. I'd like my car to have a bright color again but I'm tired of red.
Hi. She is being worked on a ways away from me. The guy working on her says he can get the code for me on Tuesday (if he remembers ) if I was going to stray from the original bright lime I would probably go with a grabber blue myself. All the best.
Thank you. That would be awesome. Hope nothing major is wrong with your Maverick. We recently installed rack & pinion in mine. Steers like a dream without a ram.
