All you have to do is drive about 2500 miles one way in July and you can view it. And many other nice Mavericks and Comets. I made the mistake of going once now I am hooked and done it 5 more times and will again this year. No I did not drive the Maverick no A/C

I heard someone say there was a get together in Dayton Ohio? I was born there, that's where my brother and family live. That's where the maverick I have now spent the last 20+ years? :)

Beautiful car! I would love to take mine down completely like that some day, but not being an original Grabber it probably wouldn't be financially smart.

One thing is certain, Mavericks are hot right now. I recently took mine to a local show with about 200 cars and I got one of the 8 awards. I was a bit surprised to say the least, but the activity around the car was steady all day despite being surrounded by some really nice Mustangs and Corvette's and many other really nice cars. It's always the same comment, "I haven't seen a nice Maverick in a long time", or something to that effect. So nice to see these great cars getting the love they deserve. The usual classic models are special for sure, but the less common cars get just as much attention.

That’s, awesome!Mine is one of the few survivors in yellow and black. It’s amazing how original it is. Just turned 10,000 miles over the summer. Now she’s sleeping for the winter :) I agree with the activity...I get more thumbs. Up driving my Maverick than I do when I drive my 67 convertible firebird. Good luck with it! Looks nice!

That's cool, I do like the yellow scheme. Mine is a 77 I just bought in November. It's a solid car, 302 but originally a 6/200, has the small bumpers which I love the best. I had a 72 as a teenager for 9 years, so I've been itching to get another one for a long time. The interior on this car is perfect but like most of it not original. I'm OK with that though, just trying to get it the way I want it while keeping true to the 72 designs. I really want to put a Grabber hood and front/rear spoliers on it eventually, but that would require repainting.

Cool! Mine was the exact car I had in 1982 (not the actual one but same exact right down to the hubcaps, color, everything). That’s why I was dying to get it when I saw it. I normally don’t care if it’s original or not (my firebird isn’t) but the Maverick is 99% original so I’ll keep it that way. The rear seat belts are still in the plastic from the factory-never been used. Car has zero rust. Can’t wait until this snow and salt is gone to go cruising again.
