i have notice some 1973 mavs have gloveboxes and some have trays .why is this??? start firing experts
My guess is that Ford used package trays until they exhausted inventory and then rolled out the glove box. No 1973 documents show them with a package tray but we all know they do exist ... I'm sure they are all early model year builds ...
I like the tray in mine too, not like I had a choice though. I think its a unique feature that I havent really seen on any others cars that I can think of.
like they said 73s have both... i have two 73's one has glove the other tray (with a from the factory center consel and clock ). most likey if your car was made in late 72 they called it a 73 i call my 73 a left over 72
My car is a late '72 and has a seatbelt warning light in the dash, which no others years have includeing early 72's. Late '72/early '73 was a strange time for Mavericks.
Glove Boxes! Have you seen the prices of those consolettes? That's why they started making the gloveboxes. Ford saw it coming and hoarded all the consolettes to sell on E-bay 33 years later!
yeah they are worth more then the car! i can see it now one consolette, two boomarags, grill, and grabber spoiler. will cost you your whole reitrement!
