The hole that the factory lines should go through is open with no grommet or lines. If I buy a new grommet and same diameter lines where do i route them to?

You will need a factory schematic to see where the lines go. Under the hood the vacuum lines go to the heater valve and the vacuum canister.

Happen to know where I could find these schematics? And could I just buy vac lines that fit and a gromment to replace them?

Rubber vac lines are just rubber vac lines, nothing special about them. The grommet is about an inch thick with holes in it for the lines to pass through. If you want something close to factory, you may want to look at rubber plugs and then just drill the correct diameter holes for the vac lines. On an AC car there are 4 holes in the grommet, 3 vac and 1 power wire that energizes the compressor clutch

    See stolen pic below.

The wire goes between the compressor and fan switch.
