Um, the 300 head will not fit on a 250 - the blocks are way different.

Unrelated, but I've heard that you build performance transmissions, do you only do C4's?

For the right price I will do c4s, AODs and C6s.
The C4s start at $775, the AODs start at $1200, and the C6s start at $850
Cores needed for the AODs and C6s.
I do NOT ship, I do NOT sell parts and yes I am kinda one sided because this isn't a business for me anymore. I do this to supply inexpensive transmissions to local folks who are close enough to be friends (before and after the sale) as a hobby.

If you are still interested give me a call between 10:00am and 4:00pm Monday - Friday. I am always happy to talk.

Interesting, I might have to contact you in the future about that. Right now I don't have the money to drop on a performance transmission. I am fairly local, I thought your profile said Tillamook the other day. If so, I live in Hillsboro and am only an hour and a half away or so.

Nope, not near Tillamook. My address is in my signature though.

Same situation for me, I don't know where the leak is.

I have been mistaken for a lot worse than that! :) It might have even been a compliment for me... ya just never know.

well like you said you've read through my thread and the best way to do it is find a parts car. any junk Maverick or Comet will work. it'll supply you with the 302 and any possible 302 swap parts needed. you can have complete assurance of having everything needed right there. its a project well worth doing. and if that isn't enough to convince you. I made money off of it in the end. I paid a couple hundred dollars for the car and was able to make back all and more than i paid for the car by selling the stuff i didn't need! (y) and its truely amazing what a bone stock 302 with shorty headers and flowmaster 40's will sound like. you'd be much happier with a v8 than a 6! so many more cheap performance options too! :Handshake
