To bad you live on the other end of the country. I don't mind the body work, I just have to get help with the welding!
Down to one car now. The parts car is gone with everything I could use stripped out and most of what I couldn't use sold off. Now maybe I can start moving forward. Got some of the engine work done, swapped timing cover so I could run a mechanical fuel pump. (87 5.0-was FI). Got most of the steering components stripped, cleaned and repainted to re-install. Going back to manual steering, at least for now. Going to hold onto the power steering set-up though. Still having no luck finding a replacement seat back for my LDO buckets. I didn't think it would be so hard. Picked up a sport steering wheel, and a few other misc. parts I need to get this old girl back together. Sometimes it seems like I'm going backwards instead of forwards on this car!
Finished pulling all the steering components out of my builder. Cleaned up and repainted the core support and did a few other bits. Got the stuff I needed to put the steering back together and in from the FedEx truck today! No point in putting old stuff right back in. New rubber and tie rods etc. going on her. Starting to see forward progress finally. Also go my floor pan coming from Joe so the passenger side can be fixed.
Got my floor pan from Joe, then turned around and ordered a battery delete apron after getting a really good look at how for gone my original panel was. Engine bay is nearly done being painted satin black after gutting it back to the fire wall and cleaning it up. Finished cleaning the engine and got the bottom end back together, it's now painted and looking so much better. Not a lot of progress but getting a little done here and there. Definitely underestimated the shear amount of time this is going to take, but I think everyone does.
Adding a few pics, engine bay mostly blacked out, body panels on to see how good I can get gaps and rear small bumper fitted.
