Hey fellas, My block cast number is c8de 6015-b. Fomoco 4530. Head #d5de-6090-ba 4j15 So im thinkin with my research so far. i have a 200 block. with a 250 head. all assembled in 74? I'm looking at the water pump and it has 3 bolts. I'm asking because i want to buy a clutch kit but want to make sure everything is correct before i buy it. thanks
C8DE w/High mount starter is definitely 200 or 170. Under the Exhaust , 5 Freeze plugs is a 200 and 3 Freeze Plugs is definitely a 170... . D5DE ('75 series) head is nice later head -w/ larger valves used on all the later Small Block Sixes 200/250 - ( 200 likely, don't think any 170's by '75 ??) . 3 Frz Plugs on this C8DE 170 from a '71 Maverick in '63 Falcon Wagon . 5 Frz plugs on 200 . later Fairmont application 200 inline six Diaphragm clutch set is a great upgrade - just needs to use original type Throwout Bearing with it.
