I plan on joining the MCG, but Joplin is a little far. Would love to make it though. But if I join the MCG, we need to have some mini-meets in Michigan, can get some other Maverick guys to come too.

    ABSOLUTELY!

Plan something.....I would suggest something with the Woodward Dream Cruise, I might be convinced to make that trip :thumbs2: Been wanting to for years.

We don't have to have it in Taylor, we can even have it in Ohio, I wonder if we could either go to Wright-Patterson AFB, or rent Milan Dragway, or Norwalk for a day.

We could do Woodward, Telegraph, or Downriver, I've seen a few Mav's at all of them. Maybe we could go to Wayne assembly, where some of the Mavericks were born.

I know for some that's a long trip. I Mapquested Fremont, Ohio to Joplin, mo. It said a little over 12 hours. You may never get another chance to attend a national meet that close. Lat year i came to joplin with my wife and 2 grandkids. It took 3 days of driving to get there and 3 days back. I trailer my car, but others drove from California and Georgia, and Michigan, Kentucky and Canada. It is a great time, even if you don't bring a Maverick or Comet. Believe me, you won't feel left out. Like John said, you can have a mini meet at any time. The whole object is to get together and have fun with your Maverick or Comet.:)

I myself dont know if i will be able to make Joplin or not but i have been talking with several of the local Maverick-ers here in the Ky and TN area and we're hoping on having a mini-meet this coming spring for everyone wanting to attend. ill try to keep everyone as informed as i can so that will give everyone plenty of time to see if they can make it :)

You guys need to have a mini meet in Canada or in the sates but close to the border, i think you would get a lot cars from both sides, but that's just my train of thought.:)(y)

Oh yeah, I think Milan has one of those too. My dad's friend and his wife race a White 86' Mustang down at Norwalk, sponsored by Lettering Inc.
