    Again this year we will have our 11th Annual MCCI Mini Meet, at the XXX Root Beer, in Issaquah, Wa. It's on July 25th, 2010 (Sunday). We have our own category for the peoples choice award (1st, 2nd & 3rd place).

    Hoping to have a good turnout this year. Lets give the Cougar club a good showing, of Mavericks/Comets.... Don't have to be a member of MCCI to join us. Come one, come all.... Lets get together & talk Mavericks & Comets....

    Currently, folks are gearing up for the Comet155 T&T Invitational down at Pacific.
    Once that is over, you'll see more members sign up.

    Weather: mild, upper 60's, no rain!
    Turn out: got there 1 hour early and still was about 12 cars ahead of me.
    People: Joined the "Ford Drag Team" to get in more runs.
    3-4 Mavericks were running (mostly trailer rigs, deep gears, hogged out shock towers for 351 blocks).
    60 ft: 1.95 sec. (hooked up great at 15 lbs per gumball)
    Times: Lost face again. Can't get out of the 13's
    Mechanicals: Power steering pump died! Benched for rest of evening.
    Drove back home very carefully, didn't want the pump to fry the rest of the way.

    Good first time out. Just wish there were no problems, but that's race'in.

    We had 5 cars show up. Fun was had by all. Mike came up from Oregon. He went to Bremerton, on Saturday for the All Ford Drags. Then came over on Sunday for the Mini Meet. Very nice car & fast too... I'm sure he'll chime in with his times. Here's some pics! Enjoy!

    More..... Also an Austrailian Falcon Cobra, with a 302 Cleveland... Sure makes my 302 Windsor look tiny....
