Went to a local car cruise in East Dubuque, they were happy to have the Mavericks and Comets make their event. Even gave out a separate attendance prize to our group. Which I happen to win.

Coming for the show on Sat.

I will be coming to the Saturday Show.

Don't have a Maverick to bring this time, working on a 1974, that is not ready for the road.

I arrived home frm the 7th. Gathering, Sunday abt 1:30pm. Made 515 trouble-free air-conditioned miles. ;) It was the 1st. Gathering I have been able to attend. I am glad I was able to attend. The Grice family went out of there way to make everyone feel welcome _IMO. I enjoyed the entire weekend and meet a group of personable/respectful folks. The weather was agreeable even though a little warm. Thursday evening we attended a cruise-in and recieved a warm welcome from the host club, who reserved a spot so all of our cars cud park in one area - we had lots of spectators coming in our area.

Awesome time, great company, good food, lots of beer, no mechcanical problems - it don't get much better than that.":yup:
