Gene I believe the answer to that question is as far as a formal club, no there is not really a MCG as there is no active President or any official officers but there are friends that like to get together and have a good time. When we had the meet in Cincinnatti last year the majority of the people that attended did not want to let it go so it was decided to get together and meet for a no host get together and chose to meet up in Somerset this year with no plans as to what we will do but I am sure we will find things to do----- and eat cookies.

If I lived closer to the core group of people that attend things like this I would try to pull things back together but I am just too far away and most of the key players in the group do not even frequent this site actively as things in their lives have changed, Ruth and Don were very instrumental in getting things organized and I hope they know how much they are appreciated for doing it. If anybody wants to step up and fill their shoes I would be more than willing to help out.

As I was told when I first thought about going to one of these events and driving 2,300 miles one way that I would be hooked and I was and more importantly so is my wife so we will be doing it once again this year, and driving it again instead of flying like previously planned

"There will be optional activities planned for Thursday and Friday and the show at a local park on Saturday. Come on out for a great time with some fine Maverick / Comet owners."

Coop, we miss you and Kathy also, we were trying to make it to the Round Up this year but the time frame just did not work out for us.

Frank I missed reading that part in the post but figured something would be going on, we asked that the Hahn boys and other Somerset people did not get as involved and take up their time as previous years but also knew that they would not sit idle and you are 100% correct. A.L.T.W.B.H.B.A.

    See yah there

Only club officers can create threads in the MCG and MCCI sections. You can ask your questions in the general forum.
