I plan on making that one. The distance is more in line w/ what I am comfortable driving.

I have nothing constructive to add except I am glad that in a year I forget how far 2500 miles is, the going to the Gathering is okay because of the great time I know Cindy and I are going to have, but the trip home is tiring even taking our time.

Not going to name everybody as you know who you are but thanks for the great time and hope to see everybody again next year and try some boiled peanuts.

    Cheeseman over and out

Home safe and sound, 5,800 miles only casualty was the windshield of the Maverick caught a rock and will need replacing. It needed a new windshield and rubber and I was putting it off but the time has come.

Bummer about the windshield. Glad your home safely. Are you plus 1 on the Mavericks now?

About what I suspected, floors gone and would cost too much to do it the way it deserved to be done ,no big deal there the main issue is not being able to get a title and would rather have the money from selling parts to put back into the blue Maverick and needing some parts from it for the blue Maverick. Tearing it apart now and have decided I am getting too old for this stuff

I finally got home yesterday afternoon. Only 3512 miles round trip this time. (Definitely no comparison to Mike's adventure). lol

The GT got me to Pittsburgh, but the C4 started slipping even more. My wife flew up to Pittsburgh and the two of us just rented a car and continued our vacation as planned. I will have the GT shipped home.

I just wanted to thank everyone involved in putting the Gathering together. I had a great time! It was so nice to see the folks I haven't seen for years, as well as meeting those I had yet to meet.
