302 conversion question

    hey guys this has probably been answered all through the forum but was wondering is there a site that makes everything needed to do the conversion or do i have look around and get piece by piece. i am running a 200 cid inline 6 right now. any info would be appreciated

    No one place sells everything needed, some sellers will sell you a complete set up but that is getting harder to find as well and expect to pay quite a bit for it. Some of the items needed are v8 frame stand, v8 motor mounts, v8 transmission cross member to help with dual exhaust, headers or exhaust from a Maverick or Comet (other small Ford v8 cars have some that may or may not work) throttle cable and bracket from v8 car and possible foot pedal, under engine cross member ( recommended but not really needed) then to be on the safe side a good radiator and a transmission in your case

    thanks would i be able to use interchangeable parts other than a mavericks or it wouldnt work?

    Maverick specific items will be the frame/engine mounts, transmission cross member and exhaust manifolds if you don't go with headers. Everything else can be made to work. (all subject to correction)
