I have a question-- are all the 302 rubber mounts the same? When I pull the engine out of the T Bird , one is a 81, the other a 84, not sure which one I will use yet, will I be able to use these mounts or will I need the 2316 s?

Aren't the maverick mounts the exact same as the 69 mustang mounts. If so I would tell them they are for a mustang. auto parts stores always have stang part numbers because there is a good market for them..

Our engine mounts are unique to our cars.
They will not cross from a Mustang or other.

The frame stands from some early Fords will transfer, but still have to use our mounts.

Or if you're really desparate you can do what I did. 66 Mustang motor mounts bolted directly to the frame horns with a 1" spacer between the mounts and the block. Been that way for 32 years now. :D

Interesting, I recvd the mounts from Parts America. They have a bolt through the center making them more a solid mount. Scotty P
