PS Lines? Did you ever figure out where to run your PS lines? I ran mine under the motor mounts, worked for me. One thing that I had to modify, was the (my mind has gone COMPLETELY BLANK here) sideways shock - lookin' thing that helps you steer (Can't believe that I can't remember what that is called! ) Anyway, my headers hit and rubbed it. So I just cut a piece of plate and made a drop bracket. Works Beautifully! I you have any questions, just ask me, I just did the swap. I have pics, somewhere, but can't put my hands on them. I had posted some on this site, back in late july early august, you might look it up and see the results. I can say one thing though, you will be very satisfied with your project results. P.S. - what did you clean and prep your engine bay with? I used lye and then went over it with starting fluid ( took a few cases of SF, but at least it got clean! ) Good luck, and if you have questions, just ask. Country
got the v8 power hoses, they are longer than the i6 ones. as far as cleaning i used oven cleaner to get the greese off. then clorox and dish soap to get the oil film off. then a pressure washer to get all of that off. and brake cleaner before the paint. i worked up a sweat just thinking about all that work. thanks for the tip on the hoses. did you get the p.m. i sent you? ...frank...
thanks m.a.v., for all the suport, advice and the loan of tools. this swap would not have happened if chris had not seen that hood popping motor of yours...frank...
