    It actually had a mexican block so it was 2 bolt. But the mexican blocks mains are much beefier than its brothers. The engine guy said it was a hard block when they bored it. It had a stud girdle/windage tray, and an eagle stroker kit.

    OK I have the Mexican block also ..347 kit..dart Jr steel heads ..non roller hydraulic cam..revving it 6200 rpm...ran 11 750 on Sunday. .I am not going to push the block any harder..ran it 7 weekends at the track this year.....there is another maverick and a falcon at track running in the tens..they run the svo 4 bolt main block

    What trans setup are you running, what are cam specs, and what gear are you running. I had no qualms about shifting it around 7000 as far a the bottom end was concerned. With the tunnel ram the build was targeted to 4500-7200 rpm range. It pulled HARD from 2nd to third almost like I hit a nitrous bottle!

    Oh mine is a C4 Trans. .stall is only 2800..410 gear with 28 inch tall tire..glad to hear your motor is working good
