347 stroker = how much hp?

    1 of the 2 shops ive talk to will start at the end of next week to build my 347 stroker ,probably the Canadian shop as they have seen what i have for parts and said they will get me 480 to 500 hp, i guess we will see if there all talk. There only 3 miles away from me and i can go see the dyno test without a 1 hr drive .

    just because they say they can make X amount of hp dont mean jack lets see a dyno sheet when you get done

    i just put my order in for my brand new 302 boss 4 bolt main block to start my build ,480 hp here i come :dance:347 boss 4 bolt main

    Wow that's a bunch of $$ I hope to have as much in the whole new Mav build as what you'll have in your block and run 10's. I think I can do it......[​IMG]

    Why did you get away from the Mex block ?

    I have what i believe is a real friend on here who has given me real good advice and can back up his advice with a huge reserve of knowledge ,i think going with the boss 302 4 bolt main block is a graet starting point. Im going to get my 480 hp with a little help from my friend ,cheers all , I will keep you posted on my build.Im hoping for a 10:50 on pump gas and mid 9s with a 100 shot .Ill only get 1 pass with NOS and ill have to get licensed ,NOT ,LOL.     my 9.5:1 306 made 351 hp to the wheels NA 648 with a 300 shot with a junk converter. R block eagle forged rods crank JE pistons afr 225 roller cam with .650 lift went 10.06 at 139mph hitting second kit at half track

    Im paying close attention to Stephan Moore,and Frank 71gold ,i think building your own engine better and faster hopefully than many crate engines is my idea of builing your own car. I guess i will see how well i listened and learned when the dyno comes in . Keep teaching Great Master Moore .WAX ON ,WAX OFF:Handshake
